The Rocking Duck Boat is a collaborative sculpture by A. Laura Brody and Alan deForest. A rocking chair becomes a riverside throne with a selection of walking sticks, canes, and a golf club for protection.
This piece began as a box of donated duck decoys and a desire to experiment with new styles and ways of collaborating. It is upholstered in remnant fabrics and textiles from theatrical costume designs and accented with surplus hardware, feathers, and doll's eyes.
